SITE CONDITIONS

New building to occupy pad space of existing building to be demolished. Due to site restrictions, new building can be only minimally larger than existing building.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Program and space plan a new research facility to accommodate a Class 100 clean room for photolithography and Class 10,000 labs for deposition, emitter test, sensor/fab test, acid and solvent operations, electron microscopy and non-classified support functions.

CLIENT EXPECTATIONS

Develop a space plan that maximizes the length of partitions available for research and ancillary equipment. Arrange all functions in an efficient and pleasant manner. Collaborate with the Users and Facilities Department to develop an exemplary space plan on a restricted site.
